Volunteer Engagement Staff Training Seminar
Help staff maximize the full spectrum of volunteer engagement.  This practical, interactive in-service training helps staff think about new ways to utilize volunteers to deliver services, build capacity, and save/make money to further the organization’s work.

  • Steps to successfully recruit, place, and support volunteers.

Volunteer Program Review and Recommendations 
A variety of volunteer program assessment packages are available.  All products are designed with the end in mind - leading to strategic recommendations aimed at more effective volunteer power.  Assessments can include:
  • Site visits and/or phone interviews
  • Online volunteer engagement surveys of staff, volunteers and/or board members
  • Review and assessment of organization policies and procedures, volunteer and/or staff manuals, position descriptions, insurance coverage, volunteer tracking capabilities.
  • Final report, identifying gaps, concerns and strengths, along with recommendations for future dynamic volunteer engagement.

Reviewing and upgrading volunteer policies, procedures, manuals, position descriptions, and training materials.  Can include doing volunteer risk management assessment along with reviewing insurance coverage and applicable state and local laws on volunteering.
